Pew Grand Rapids Campus.	All undergraduate students begin their academic career on the Allendale Campus. Students in this major continue their upper division studies on the GVSU Health Campus, near the Grand Rapids Medical Mile.	Classes for the program are a combination of online and in-seat on the Grand Rapids Pew Campus in downtown Grand Rapids, MI.
Coursework	In addition to courses covering each functional area of business, the accounting program covers the following topics: Accounting ethics Financial accounting Managerial accounting Accounting information systems Auditing Taxation Government and non-profit accounting		The certificate requires the completion of 15 credit hours of graduate study: PNH 661 - Nonprofit Management Practice PNH 662 - Nonprofit Financial Management PNH 663 - Nonprofit Organizations, Advocacy, and Public Policy PNH 665 - Nonprofit Boards, Trustees, and Governance Three credits of professional workshops or PNH 667 - Fund Development
Career Options	Accounting offers many career paths, including consulting, forensic accounting, internal audit, management accounting, and public accounting. The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in accounting provides a solid foundation for licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
