The biomedical sciences major provides a strong foundation in the sciences that prepares the student for careers in science and medicine. The requirements for the major align with the coursework required for admission to professional schools and graduate programs in the sciences. Students will study a variety of topics, including:

Students may choose four courses to dual-count toward the B.S. and M.S. degrees, up to 12 credit hours total. Students are encouraged to work with the graduate program director and their advisor to ensure all requirements are met.
Registration for 600-level courses is to occur only after acceptance into the combined degree program.
