Public reading of new play, HEAR ME ROAR by James Bell. Based on Mary Frith AKA Moll Cutpurse who was a notorious thief and businesswoman in 16th Century London. This is the first public reading of a play James Bell wrote during his fall 2023 sabbatical. It is being considered for production in Winter 2025 as part of the Theatre program Mainstage Season. Discussion with the playwright follows the reading.
