Dog breeding education event set for October 20

A representative from PAWS With A CAUSE ® is visiting the Allendale
Campus to educate students about dog breeding and training.
Dawn Bohan, national breeding program coordinator for PAWS With
A CAUSE, and Anne Merkle, Grand Valley librarian and certified dog
breeder, will teach students the traits dog breeders and assistance
dog training organizations look for in potential service dogs. Bohan
and Merkle will bring PAWS With A CAUSE breeding dogs and a foster
puppy, which both represent the pedigrees being discussed during the event.
