Students had the opportunity to send postcards to people they miss during a special activity September 28 at the Cook Carillon Tower.

More than 330 Grand Valley-themed postcards were sent to people around the world in 15 countries and 19 states. Students wrote messages to grandparents, friends, parents, cousins, brothers and sisters located across the United States, and as far away as Sweden and Peru.

Students and staff members on the GVSU social media team in University Communications organized the activity. People who receive a postcard are encouraged to share a photo on social media by using the #gvsu hashtag or tagging Grand Valley on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.
