Spotlights
Katherine Rauhut, Japan

My study abroad experience in Japan is something I know that I will look back on for the rest of my life. It cemented my passion for international English teaching and revealed to me that I am a capable, independent woman. This experience sparked my wanderlust, though my bank account isn't too happy about that! My favorite memory from the study abroad trip was singing Bohemian Rhapsody in a karaoke ferris wheel in the heart of Tokyo with my friends. I honestly think about my time in Japan every day, and I am positively itching to go back whether I am living and working there or just visiting again. Either way, that incredible month abroad has made a permanent mark on my soul, and I can't wait to further explore that adventurous, fearless side of myself.
