Aubrey Vervaet, Ireland
My study abroad experience was great. I really enjoyed meeting new friends and living/working in the city. My favorite memory was when our group went to learn how to play Gaelic games, and we all went to an actual game before the finals. I also went to Dublin Pride, biked through the area, attended a folk music festival through a friend's internship, and saw a Pearl Jam Concert. A lesson I learned was to be more ambitious and say yes to everything. I am usually more introverted, yet I came out of my shell and tried new things with the 7 girls I lived with during the two months I was there. My job was also a great experience, and I got to try so many different things during my time there.
Aubrey did an internship for her Communications major through ISA in Dublin, Ireland. Her major was Advertising and Public Relations, Minor: Studio Art
